DRIVEMACHINE LICENSE

Db Samples (a US sole proprietorship, New York) makes DriveMachine. Installing or using it means you agree to this.

What you get. A personal, non-exclusive, perpetual license to use DriveMachine on up to 3 computers you personally use (AU, VST3 and AAX on Mac, VST3 on Windows). It is licensed, not sold; Db Samples keeps all rights in the software. Anything you make with it is yours, royalty-free.

Your key. Your license key is tied to the email you bought with. Keep it to yourself: don't post, share, sell or give it away. A shared key can be revoked.

Trial. The free trial runs for 14 days and then stops. Don't try to reset or work around it.

Don't. Don't resell, transfer, rent or redistribute DriveMachine or its key; don't reverse engineer, decompile or modify it, or bypass the license check, except where the law expressly allows.

Refunds. Try the trial first. Once a key is issued there are no refunds, with two exceptions: a duplicate charge, which we refund in full, and a plugin that won't run on your computer. If DriveMachine won't run on your computer, email daniel@dbsamples.co within 30 days of purchase and we'll help you get it working, or refund you. Nothing here removes rights you have under local consumer law.

Updates. Updates to DriveMachine 1 are free. A future major version may be a paid upgrade. We don't promise a future update, host, or macOS or Windows version. If Db Samples ever stops trading, your current version keeps working.

No warranty. DriveMachine is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Back up your sessions. Our total liability is capped at what you paid for DriveMachine; we are not liable for lost data, lost profits or indirect damages.

Ending it. If you break these terms the license ends and you must delete DriveMachine. You can end it any time by deleting it.

Third-party software. DriveMachine includes open-source components; their licenses are in "Third-Party Notices.txt" inside the plugin and at dbsamples.co/pages/drivemachine-license. VST is a registered trademark of Steinberg Media Technologies GmbH. Pro Tools and AAX are trademarks of Avid Technology, Inc.

Law. New York law governs.
